People outside of Christianity often want to know what difference Christ makes in our lives. What difference does Jesus Christ make in your life?

Our answer to this question gets at the heart of evangelism Sometimes we shy away from the word evangelism because we associate negative experiences with people trying to force us, scare us, or condemn us into faith.
Yet, when we get to the heart of the word evangelism, we find that the Greek words used to describe evangelism mean to tell the good news, to bear witness, and to proclaim.

Our faith is a faith of Good News. The life of Jesus Christ demonstrated for us how to experience new life in the kingdom of God. The early church embraced bearing witness to the facts, the events, and the assurance of our faith. And in bold fashion, the early disciples proclaimed the works, the miracles, and the teachings of Jesus.

The key to our Christian witness is the personal evidence that Christ is alive in us. To make disciples, people need to know that Christ makes a difference in our lives. People want to know.

What is the Good News we proclaim? How do we articulate it? What personal involvement with Jesus do we share in witness to Jesus Christ?
