Pastor Mark’s Messaage
Recently I was challenged by the question, “Why do we exist on planet earth?” My quick response was to go to our mission statement: “North Highland is a faith community, which exists to make disciples for Jesus Christ: We accept you as you are, while encouraging and equipping you to become all God intends.
I’ve been struck by data that shows the explosion of the gospel message across the world. Yet, North America is the only inhabited continent where the gospel is NOT spreading.
In worship we’ve been hitting some of the hard questions head-on over the past few weeks. Here’s one more. Do we have room for more disciples?
We have a lot to offer in making disciples for Jesus Christ. This is a generous, Christ-centered community. In this month of Valentines and expressions of love, let’s continue to offer our hearts and share the love of Christ with someone new.
