On Thursday, November 6, our church was thrilled to welcome nearly 130 hungry guests from the Northern State University football program—players and coaches—for a hearty team meal before their upcoming game.

Our fellowship hall was buzzing as tables filled with plates of pasta with meatballs and marinara and chicken alfredo, garlic bread, salad, fresh fruit, and plenty of cookies made their way around the room. And of course… it wouldn’t be a proper team dinner without chocolate milk—a favorite that was in steady demand!

It was a gift to share laughter, conversation, and warm hospitality with these young men and their coaches. We were grateful for the chance to offer encouragement and a good meal before they head into the final stretch of their season.

A special thank-you to all the volunteers who helped cook, serve, set up and clean up. Your helping hands and joyful spirits made this ministry of welcome possible. Moments like these remind us how powerful simple acts of care can be.

We continue to pray for the Wolves—may God bless them with safety, perseverance, and strong finishes on and off the field. Go Wolves!
